Whitney Weds Wednesday!

Like my cute name for this post?  LOL!

Picking china for the registry has been super hard for me!  I love so many different things...I always go back to blue and white though!  I am currently registered for very granny Mottahedeh blue and white china, I'll do a post on that soon!

But now I just came across the Hermes Chaine Dancre Blue pattern and my heart skipped a beat.  Is it cheese to register for Hermes China?

Try and tell me you at least don't want this fab tray!

Travel Tuesday - Our Hamptons Home

OK, this is not really our Hamptons home but it is where we stayed this summer with a few friends.  It was absolutely perfect and I wanted to show you a few pictures.  By the way, I have been MIA for a long time while I have been wedding planning.  I am finally feeling like I can breath so hopefully I will be able to start blogging more...maybe even with some wedding details here and there!

Love the tall entrance with a big round table!

Lots of blue and white in the living room, my favorite color combo.

Perfect little brass crab accessories.

The media room in the basement had the deepest couch I have ever seen, perfect for watching a movie.

And the best part was the outdoor pool and living area.

Luxemburgeli Macaroons

My Fiance came back from Switzerland with the most delicious delicacy, Sprungli Luxemburgeli macaroons!  Just what I needed on the first day of our no sugar challenge at work!  I became obsessed with Macaroons after visiting Laduree in London a few years ago (see my post here).  I must admit that these little Swiss gems give Laduree a run for their money!

They are actually mini-macaroons which makes them dangerously pop-able!  The consistency is lighter than a Parisian macaroon and the center is creamier.  The outer shells are a perfect little dome and the are very delicate.

The packaging is pretty with a little note on top that says enjoy immediately...which I did!  I tasted every flavor and then had to go back and taste a few more so that I could be sure to tell you which one was my favorite.  20 MINI macaroons later (they are mini, OK, no judging) and my favorite one is their flavor of the month, Coffee/Coconut Deluxe.

Visit the Sprungli website here for the history of these delicious Swiss macaroons.  You can pick up a box of your own the next time you are in Zurich.
